The TM Forum marketing team set the brand strategy, create and deliver our go-to-market, support lines of business and events, and drive member value through engaging campaigns and communications.
We’re looking for a savvy, proactive, and outcome-driven Marketing Automation Manager to scale up our lead qualification and nurture strategies. You’ll own the operational excellence of our Marketo platform, while designing and executing high-performing campaigns that engage prospects and convert leads. Working across Marketing, Data, and Insights teams, you’ll combine hands-on technical skill with strategic thinking to improve lead quality, campaign results and overall business impact.
What you'll do:
- Build, QA and schedule campaigns in Marketo to the highest accuracy standards, ensuring assets function correctly and campaigns reach the intended audiences on time. Collaborate on send schedules, to avoid campaign conflicts and optimise engagement.
- Design and execute email nurture programs to identify automation opportunities that enhance lead progression and engagement.
- Develop, implement and continuously refine lead scoring models, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure accurate funnel segmentation and lead quality.
- Monitor MQL and SQL generation, working closely with Sales & Engagement Managers monitor the flow and quality of MQLs and SQLs, continuously monitoring and adjusting rules, to drive lead quality and ROI.
- Maintain and optimise Marketo forms, ensuring data integrity, consistent structure, and strong conversion performance.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Performance & Insights team to design A/B tests, analyse campaign performance, and embed learnings into future activity.
- Partner with the Data team to maintain clean data, relevant field structures, and effective segmentation logic. Educate and guide marketers on audience selection and targeting best practices.
- Support cold outreach initiatives, managing data transfer between Marketo and business data platforms while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Own Marketo governance, including folder hierarchy, asset naming conventions, and general platform hygiene to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Support the broader Marketing team through documentation, training, and ongoing guidance on Marketo processes and best practice.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 3-5 years’ experience with Adobe Marketo Engage, or a similar Marketing Automation platform.
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders to build, test and launch complex, multi-step email campaigns.
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead scoring, and data enrichment workflows.
- Ability to analyse campaign data and provide actionable insights; familiarity with A/B testing and performance reporting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and process discipline in QA and scheduling.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience documenting processes, creating templates, and coaching non-technical marketers on automation best practice.
- Understanding of basic HTML/CSS in order to perform occasional troubleshooting or template adjustments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and basic understanding of data structure and field mapping.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, coupled with the ability to connect day-to-day activity to the desired outcomes and drive them through to completion.
- Marketo Expert or similar certification desired but not required.
- Exposure to data platforms such as Cognism or ZoomInfo desired but not required.
