Summary Description:
We are seeking an accomplished Event Project Manager to join our Events Team for a minimum of 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will lead the planning, delivery, and execution of high-profile B2B commercial events for strategic member organizations. In addition to project management, the role will require hands-on execution of all operational and logistical elements, ensuring seamless end-to-end event delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Event Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the strategic member organization, ensuring their event objectives are aligned with TM Forum’s event strategy. Develop and maintain a collaborative partnership with the client, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their goals.
- Conduct regular updates, meetings, and reporting sessions to ensure transparency, alignment, and mutual success.
Event Design, Operations & Logistics
- Partner with the client to design and deliver a year-long engagement strategy through TM Forum’s existing events portfolio and agreed additional standalone events.
- Take ownership of all operational and logistical aspects of event delivery, including venue coordination, supplier management, ticketing, travel, and on-site execution.
- Ensure exceptional attendee experiences by meticulously managing event details, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Project Management
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project plan to deliver the client’s event engagement strategy, tracking progress and managing risks effectively.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, sponsorship, and operations, to meet project milestones and client expectations.
- Deliver timely updates and reports to the client and internal stakeholders to ensure accountability and transparency.
Supporting Other Lines of Business (LOB)
- Collaborate with other TM Forum teams to align the client’s objectives with broader initiatives, such as membership benefits, thought leadership, or mission led programs.
- Provide project management and operational support for internal initiatives that intersect with the client’s goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in B2B commercial event project management and operational delivery for high-profile events.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end projects with multiple interdependencies and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in managing event logistics, budgets, timelines, on-site execution and reporting processes
- Adept at working in cross-functional teams and thriving in a fast-paced environment
